QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
~~~
  1. What does the word giclee (gee-clay) mean?
    It is a French word meaning "spray of ink" on canvas. These painting reproductions are produced on a special Iris Printing Press that prints directly onto the canvas.
  2. How long will the colors of a giclee last?
    The producers of the giclees say that the color-fastness is at least 75 years. It is advisable that you not hang a giclee or original painting in direct sunlight.
  3. Do I need to put glass over the giclee?
    No, you do not put glass on the giclee. When they are framed and hung the giclees look very much like an original painting.
  4. How much will it cost to frame the giclee?
    It depends on the size and frame that are selected.
  5. If I order a giclee, how long will it take to arrive?
    Shipping is 4-6 weeks to receive the giclee
  6. How much is the shipping cost?
    The cost of shipping the giclee will depend on the destination.
  7. If I have any trouble with my order, who do I call?
    Call Swanson Art and Frames, Steven R. Swanson at (602) 643-8046.
